Selinus House
Selinus House overlooks one of the most beautiful coasts in western Sicily. The project involves an existing property, whose structure had already been completed, and is the result of an approach in line with the requirements of the client, who paid close attention to every detail, in which architecture and landscape are perfectly integrated.
Thanks to its location, it overlooks the picturesque Sicilian countryside from above. From here, you can enjoy a view of the natural environment that ranges from cultivated hillsides of vineyards and olive groves to the green of the Mediterranean scrub and the bay below, all of which are subject to careful landscape protection.
The design process draws inspiration from the continuous relationship with nature and the landscape, and through landscape design, it becomes the link that connects the natural environment with the intimacy of the interior spaces without interruption.

Access to the villa is via a green path that runs along the entire perimeter of the property. Thanks to the absence of visual barriers on the main frontage, visitors are treated to a panoramic view that extends along the coast to the horizon.
The curvilinear pool is the culmination of this route and is designed so that the water level creates an infinite surface effect on the landscape, merging with the sea view. The stone steps of the sun terrace accentuate this connection with the natural space, continuing the optical effect of the profile of the beach below.

On the ground floor, a spacious open-plan area is divided into a fluid succession of spaces including a living room, dining area and open-plan kitchen. Spacious outdoor areas allow you to enjoy the outdoor spaces in the summer and form the natural extension of the living area.

On the upper floor, accessible via two marble and oak staircases, are the bedrooms, which are more intimate and welcoming, and are connected by a single terrace. The rooms in the house are characterised by their elegance, with a refined balance of precious marbles, resins and accessories with a sophisticated design. The details that define the interiors and the different bespoke furniture are interesting and elegant.
